Filmfare awards concluded recently and Ranbir Kapoor won Best Actor (popular choice) for Sanju and RK's ladylove, Alia Bhatt bagged the Best Actress (popular choice) for Raazi, emerging as the award-winning couple of the night. Ranbir recived tons of wishes on his big achivement. His mother also expressed love to her son. Congratulating Ranbir and Alia on the big win, Neetu Kapoor shared on social media an adorable click of Alia and Ranbir. "AND moments like these make you forget all the stress ? congratulations so proud n happy #filmfareawards #bestactor#bestactress ????." While Neetu expressed her happiness on social media, RK's father, Rishi Kapoor, who is currently in New York, is also overjoyed with his son's win.

As per DNA report, reacting to Ranbir's big win, Rishi Kapoor said, "In 11-and-a-half years, Ranbir has picked up as many as six major awards. Neetu and I are very proud of our son."

Meanwhile, at the Zee Cine Awards, when Ranbir dedicated his victory to his dad Rishi and mom Neetu. The actor even assured that his father is doing well and will return to India soon.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer sanju  gave one of the biggest hits of his career with Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju, which released in 2018. The actor, who portrayed Sanjay Dutt on the silver screen, earned praises for his fine acting chops.

On the work front, Ranbir will be seen in Brahmastra and Shamshera.
