Patna: The Biharpolice have found a vicious criminal who lured not one or two, but 12 young women into his love trap and married them. Every time he used to trap gullible girls by calling himself a bachelor. Finally, in the case of kidnapping of a minor girl, he fell into the trap of the police.  

It was the purnea police who succeeded in arresting this fraudster. The culprit was identified as Shamshad alias Manwar. He had been dodging the police for six years. There have been shocking revelations in his interrogation. Shamshad is a resident of Anarkali village under Kochadhaman police station area. Purnia police had registered a case against him for kidnapping a minor in Bijwar village under Angarh police station area in December 2015. A week after the abduction, the police had seized the abducted Nablig girl from Kishanganj, but the culprit, Shamshad, escaped.  

For the same 6 years, there was a constant attempt to catch Shamshad. The minor girl's father had filed a nomination report against her. Police have nabbed him from Koidangi village under Bahadurganj police station area. During his interrogation and investigation, it was revealed that the criminal had had a dozen marriages. The seven wives of the criminal Shamshad have told the police that he lured them into a love trap and then married them. None of these girls knew she was already married. Following his statements, a case has been registered against Shamshad under sections of kidnapping, cheating and other sections. He was sent to jail after questioning.
