The Covid-19 epidemic is spreading rapidly in the country. This epidemic is emerging as the world's largest corona hotspot in the month of August. The highest number of Corona cases have been registered in India so far this month. The country most affected by the epidemic is slightly less than the US and much more than Brazil. In the first six days of August, India was the third country in the world to have more deaths than Corona. The havoc continued on Friday and more than 60 thousand new cases were confirmed and 926 people died. According to the data gathered by the state governments, it became the largest number of new infected in a day.

According to the report of the Worldometer giving information on Corona, 3,28,903 cases of corona were confirmed in India within the first six days of August. 3,26,111 cases were reported in America and 2,51,264 in Brazil. In four days, new cases of corona in India were the highest in the world. These dates are 2,3,5 and 6 August. In India, the number of corona infected has crossed two million on Thursday, and the top three India also ranks first in terms of reaching one million to two million in the country. The rate of infection in the country is also 3.1%, which is much higher than the US and Brazil at the number of two million.

It may be noted that in August, Brazil and America registered more than 6000 cases of death due to corona, while the number of cases in the country was more than five thousand. On Friday, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh had more than ten thousand new cases. Apart from this, at least five states of India recorded Corona records in one day.
