Famous actress Neelima Azim is celebrating her birthday today. She was born on 2 December 1958. Everyone knows about Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's father Pankaj Kapoor, but less is known about his mother Neelima Azim. Shahid Kapoor's mother Neelima Azim is a well-known actress. She Has worked in many movies and serials. Neelima last appeared in the 2013 film Dehradun Diaries. Shahid Kapoor has played the role of Shahid's mother in the film Ishq Vishk.

Neelima Azim's personal life was very volatile. He was married to Pankaj Kapoor in 1975. Their relationship broke up after 9 years in 1984. Shahid is the only child of both. Pankaj Kapoor married popular actress Supriya Pathak after her divorce from Neelima. Neelima married actor Rajesh Khattar in 1990.

The marriage of Neelima and Rajesh Khattar did not last long and both of them got divorced in 2001. Ishan is the son of Neelima and Rajesh. Neelima married Ustad Raza Ali Murad in 2004 for the third time after her divorce from Rajesh. This marriage also lasted only 5 years and in 2009 the two separated. Neelima now lives with her son Shahid. She says that Shahid was the target she wanted to live on when she went through all this. Neelima said, 'It was Shahid who instilled a positive thinking in me to lead a life. I was young so I thought of getting married again. All of this took a while, but after a few years, I recovered.
