Ranveer Singh  has a great year as it blows the  mind of each time with his versatility. After playing the Alauddin Khilji, cop Sangram Bhalerao and rapper Gully Boy, the actor is all set essay the character of former Indian cricket team skipper Kapil Dev in 83. Bajirao Mastani actor  has already started training for the film, and he shared a picture from his training session on social media. Besides him,  Punjabi actor Ammy Virk who will portray the character of fast bowler Balvinder Singh Sandhu. And now the producers have revealed another star, who will play the explosive batsman Kris Srikkanth aka Krishnamachari Srikkanth in this biographical sports drama.

Now Tamil star Jiiva will essay the Krishnamachari Srikkanth . He confirmed the news and told Midday, that he began training for the part last month. (Former Indian cricketer) Balwinder Singh Sandhu had visited him in Chennai to notice his batting form and see how well-versed he was about cricketTalking about the physical training, the actor  said, "For this film, I am doing [outdoor] exercises instead of training in the gym, which is also aiding my prep for '83. I have a personal trainer who is helping me build my stamina.  He further added that The workout routine is intense and there is a fair amount of cardiovascular training involved.
