Chennai – Tamil superstar Vijay made a significant move in his political journey by unveiling the flag of his new political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, today. The event marks a key milestone for Vijay as he prepares to enter the political arena.

At the Panaiyur party office, Vijay revealed the party’s flag, which features a striking design of maroon and yellow. The flag prominently displays elephants on either side and a peacock surrounded by stars at the center. In addition to the flag unveiling, Vijay also introduced an official song for the party.

Vijay announced the formation of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam earlier this year and declared his intention to run in the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections. His party chose not to align with any political bloc during the recent Lok Sabha elections.

During the unveiling ceremony, Vijay expressed his enthusiasm for the party’s future. “I know you all are eagerly awaiting our first state conference,” Vijay said. “Preparations are underway, and I will announce it soon. Today, I am proud to unveil our party’s flag. We are committed to working together for the development of Tamil Nadu.”

The actor emphasized his commitment to the state’s welfare, stating, “Tamil Nadu will be better from now on. Victory is sure.”

Looking ahead, the party plans a major rally in the last week of September in Vikravandi, northern Tamil Nadu, to officially launch the party to the public. The registration process with the Election Commission is nearing completion, paving the way for Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam’s official debut.
