A Krishna devotee woman from Russia is in the news these days on social media. Let me tell you that her name is Svetlana Ochilova. Svetlana's first husband was a Muslim. He used to pressure her to convert to Islam. Svetlana has found a way to get rid of this relationship before through Krishna's devotion. Now she is going to marry a Hindu. Svetlana, a graphic designer by profession, has over one lakh followers on Instagram. She constantly tells people through videos and posts about the changes in her life due to Krishna's devotion. Her Instagram posts show that her Muslim husband used to beat her. He used to pressure her to convert to Islam. They also have a son.

Svetlana now lives in Mayapur, India. In a video shared on Instagram on January 14, 2022, she said that "I was looking for real happiness. I thought I'll be happy when I had a baby, but it didn't happen. My husband, on the other hand, was a staunch Muslim. He used to pressurize me to convert to Islam. I went into a lot of depression. I was so broken that I wanted to jump from my house on the ninth floor. But I would like to thank Lord Krishna for saving my life. My marriage was a mistake. Those who are going through such things, I can understand their pain. At the time I felt like I was living in hell.''

The tortures of the Muslim husband turned Svetlana towards devotion to Krishna. In the year 2016, she was separated from her husband for almost a year and came to India. Meanwhile, on the basis of experiences, I have decided to take myself on the path of devotion to Krishna. She says, ''The fear of my husband was completely gone from me. I started being happy. In the year 2017, my husband told me to choose between Krishna and me. I chose Krishna. After that, we both got divorced.''

After the divorce, Svetlana came to India. She started spending her life in Mayapur with her son. It was here that he met Roshan Jha. He is also a Krishna devotee. After knowing each other, both of them also got engaged . Explaining the engagement in a post, Svetlana wrote, "He really cares about us. Roshan Jha has accepted me with my past, present and future. He loves me. He has also adopted my son as his son.''
