Actress Vinny Arora Dhoopar, who is about to become a mother, shares how she is looking forward to this new phase in her life but at the same time, she will not let her career take a backseat.

Vinny says, "Those days are gone when women used to go on a year break after they delivered a baby. I do understand that a lot of care is necessary and you need to give time to your child, but if something interesting comes up, I would definitely like to work. And in today's times, work is quite seasonal when it comes to show business. There are times when you have good work and sometimes you don't, so if there is something exciting, I would like to think about it after sometime. Females have kept working during pregnancy and even after it."

The actress was last seen in Laado 2 almost three years ago, and she has not been part of television since then. She said, "I have been away from the particularly saas bahu sagas but I would not mind doing a project if the role is worth presenting. And I would also like to think about the web space because the shows are finite and you spend a limited amount of time shooting for the shows."

On the personal front, Vinny is happy that husband Dheeraj (Dhoopar) and she are soon going to become parents. She says, "Dheeraj is shooting for his new show but when he is home, he pampers me with sandwiches, gives me back massages and takes great care of me. I am happy and blessed."
