Mumbai: Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday said that those who lost their families due to oxygen shortage during the second wave of the corona epidemic should take the Central government to court. It may be recalled that the Central Government informed the Upper House in a written reply a day earlier that no specific information was given by the States and Union Territories about the death due to lack of oxygen during the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic.

"Many people in many states were died due to oxygen shortage," Raut said, reacting to the government's reply. Those whose relatives were died due to lack of oxygen should take the Central government to court. The Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha member, while talking to the press, attacked the government saying, "The Central Government is running away from the truth. I think it's the effect of a pegasus (Israeli spyware).''

Shiv Sena chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut said it has to be ascertained whether those whose relatives died due to oxygen shortage believe the Centre's response to the issue in Parliament.
