Amritsar: Amritsar fearing terrorist attacks on Guru Ramdas International Airport, the security is under the Army. Rumours of a terror attack have spread among the people regarding this. Air Traffic Control i.e. ATC Tower is also under the control of the Army. No official has refused to divulge anything in this regard, but sources say that security due to the possibility of a terrorist attack on the airport after the drones dropped weapons on the border from Pakistan last week the system has been extended.

Sources also said that similar security arrangements have been made at Chandigarh Airport. About 150 army commandos have been deployed at the airport.
