Ujjain: After the lockdown, now the Jyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has been opened for devotees. On the second day after the entry of devotees started in the temple, there was a general darshan on Tuesday. On the first day, only 1664 devotees were able to book on the call center and the app did not start on time, but on Tuesday the booking of the four slots was full. 2800 devotees saw Lord Mahakal. Looking at the number of visitors, the booking system has been changed. Now Shraddhalu can book three days in advance instead of one day.

In this case, Rajkumar Singh, head of the IT branch of Mahakal temple, said that 700-700 devotees are being allowed to visit four slots on the basis of advance booking. Visitors can book at any time in 24 hours till the space remains vacant on the 'Mahakaleshwar App'. Booking facility will be available on toll free number 18002331008 between 10 am to 10 pm. There are 10 employees posted in two shifts in the call center of the temple, who are promptly attending the call of the devotees. Wednesday booking has been completed. For Thursday too, some slots in one or two slots are left vacant.

Till four days ago, officers were talking about having darshan in three slots. But at 8.30 pm on Sunday night, when the app and call center started, the arrangement was fixed in four slots. Sources say about this time, the new system got good response to the devotees, in view of this, the officers are considering to increase one more slot. The number of visitors will also be raised along with the slot. If all goes well, then 5 thousand devotees will be seen every day in five slots.
