New Delhi: Three petitions filed in the Supreme Court seeking an investigation into the encounter of gangster Vikas Dubey and his associates have not been listed on the list of cases on Monday, but the petitioning lawyers can demand an early hearing from the top court Huh. A petition has been filed seeking a CBI, NIA, SIT, or judicial inquiry.

A petition has been filed by top court lawyer Anoop Prakash Awasthi, in which the CBI or SIT has also been asked to investigate the case of killing of 8 policemen on 2 July. Anoop Awasthi says that it is necessary to get to the bottom of the collusion of police, politicians, and criminals. Anoop has demanded an early hearing on another petition filed earlier in the same case. In the letter written to the registry, it has been said that there is a possibility that others like Vikas Dubey may also have an encounter.

The second petition was filed by the NGO People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL). PUCL has demanded a judicial inquiry into this encounter. It has been said in the petition that in the name of justice, the police cannot take the law in their hands immediately. A third petition has been filed by Mumbai lawyer Ghanshyam Upadhyay on a similar demand.
