Srinagar: Three unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in Jadura area under Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. While one of our soldiers lost his life in the encounter that happened. The army is conducting a search operation by seizing the entire area. Seven terrorists have been killed in two encounters so far in the last 24 hours.

An army-related public relations officer said that the encounter was continuing in Jadura area of Pulwama since Friday night. So far 3 terrorists have been piled up, though their identification has not been done yet. A soldier has been killed in the encounter, who was seriously injured during the operation. Four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. A police officer said that the security forces started seizing and search operations there in Kilura area of the district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.

They have told that during this time the terrorists openly fired on the search team of the security force and an encounter between the two sides started. The officer said four terrorists were killed in the encounter. He said that the identity of the slain terrorists and their organization is being ascertained.
