Nowadays, be it a party or a meeting, it is like looking like a gentleman for boys. In today's time, the shirt can be matched with a tie from simple and given a unique look. In fact, the tie is in trend nowadays because it helps to make them look special. The tie is a necessary part in the dress of all the school children and in the dress up of some special professionals. However, according to a recent study, wearing it can prove to be harmful to health. In fact, according to a recent study, wearing a tie reduces the blood supply to the brain by 7.5 percent.

And wearing a tie can also increase eye pressure, which increases the risk of glaucoma and cataracts. Not only this, but experts say that wearing a tie may have a feeling of discipline or is considered necessary, but it can harm health. The scientists of Kiel University, located in the UK, have recently described the wearing of a tie as harmful to health. The study, published in 'New Scientist', examined how wearing a tie affects the flow of blood to the brain. A total of 30 men were included in this study and there were fifteen regular tie wearers and 15 without tie wearers. Along with this, through MRI, all of them were brain scans, so that the flow of blood in the brain could be detected.

With this, the researchers found those tie wearers had an average of 7.5 percent less blood flow in their brains than in the other group. The scientists attributed the low blood flow to the contraction of the carotid arteries, which carry blood away from the heart under the pressure of the tie. And thus proved that wearing a regular tie affects the blood supply in the brain.
