Tina recently opened up to another contestant, Shiv Thakare, about a very emotional aspect of her life as a contestant on the show, even though she is already regarded as one of the favorite female contestants whose special bond with co-contestant Abu Rozdik is being widely admired and talked about on social media.

She talked openly about her time in Calcutta during her eighth and ninth grades, when she was offered acting jobs based in Mumbai but was unable to travel there because her parents were unable to join her due to the high cost of the tickets.

In her remarks, Tina described her upbringing in a middle-class household with modest luxuries. Tina mentioned that even rudimentary needs, like an internet connection, would only be given sporadically throughout the year. She continued by describing how she only had time to check her email during the five to six days of Durga Puja, when having access to the internet was a temporary luxury for them. The first few audition calls she received were made via email. The actress seems to be bringing out a very strong side of her in the show. Tina Datta will be showcasing something new to the world this season, and we can't wait to see it!
