Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are constantly attacking each other in West Bengal. On Friday, a TMC delegation met the Election Commission (EC), which included Yashwant Sinha, who subscribed to the party a few days ago. The TMC has demanded the election commission to release a strong report on the attack on Mamata Banerjee. The delegation, which met the election Commission, was attended by former union ministers Yashwant Sinha, TMC MP Mahua Moitra, and Saugata Roy.

After the meeting, TMC leader Yashwant Sinha said, "We have apprised the election Commission about the reality of Bengal. TMC does not want to deploy the central force around the polling booth, it is because it can create an atmosphere of fear among the people. At the same time, he has appealed to the election Commission to understand the accommodation of West Bengal, most of the people speak Bengali and deploy a force in this place which can understand the language of the people.''

Mahua Moitra also said that the decision of the central force to deploy 100 meters of polling booth should be reconsidered. Let us say that elections are to be held in West Bengal from 27th March, the results of which will come on 2nd May.
