Kolkata: A minor died after being gang-raped in Hanskhali, Nadia, West Bengal. The girl's family members allege that the TMC leader's son gang-raped the minor at the birthday party. Thereafter, he died. The minor's family members lodged a complaint at Hanskhali police station on Saturday, 4 days after the incident. According to the complaint, the minor had gone to attend the criminal's birthday on Monday. But when she returned home, her condition was not good and she died in a short time.
Family members told that after coming back from the party at the TMC leader's son's house, his daughter was bleeding profusely and died before we could take her to the hospital. The minor's mother saaid that after talking to the people present in the party, we were convinced that the criminal and his friends gang-raped the daughter.
Not only this, the family members of the girl alleged that the policemen forcibly took away the body of the girl under political pressure and she was cremated without post-mortem. The criminal Sohail Gayli is absconding since the incident. Sohail's father Samarendra is a TMC panchayat member in Gayli area. The Bharatiya Janata Party alleges that the police is trying to suppress the matter under the pressure of TMC. The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a 12-hour bandh tomorrow.
