NEW DELHI: The temple parliament of democracy is always a state of play, but on Friday there was a different color of the game. In fact, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Prasoon Banerjee, who arrived in Parliament on Friday morning, appeared with his football. As soon as he got closer to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation on the Parliament complex, Banerjee started playing with a football. For a long time, he performed a variety of tricks with a football.

When the press in parliament house asked MP Prasoon Banerjee the real reason behind the demonstration, he said, "Play football, look at the world, be gentle and reach the height of the national flag all over the world." He said, "My friend Gautam Sarkar, India wants to see India play in the Football World Cup. In front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, we have sworn that we will continue to strive with all courage and sincerity to carry forward this task.

TMC MP Prasoon Banerjee has said that he will meet PM Narendra Modi with footballers. During the meeting, he will ask PM Modi to take football forward at the national level. He said, during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his aim would be less politics, more sports and more football.
