New Delhi: Parliament remained closed for a long time amid the Corona epidemic. In the meantime, voice was also raised about the virtual parliament. But now many meetings of the Parliamentary Committee are being held in the Parliament House itself. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and MP Derek O'Brien has raised questions on this. Derek says that a meeting of parliamentary committees can be organized virtual, because there are not many people in it.

TMC MP Brian on Monday took to Twitter and wrote, 'TMC is not in support of the virtual parliament, but there is no reason why the Parliamentary Committee meeting cannot be held in a virtual manner. Even today there is a meeting on the issue of data privacy, which has been called. Why couldn't this meeting be done in a virtual way? In this regard, I have once again written a letter to the Rajya Sabha-Lok Sabha speaker.'

Let us tell you that even before this many meetings have been held in Parliament House, which has been related to different ministries. Ministers or MPs who attend some meetings have since been found to be Coronavirus positive, which is why many MPs have raised questions about security reasons. Let us tell you that work has not been done in Parliament House since March, now a new monsoon session can also be called after August 15 or in the month of September. Earlier there was a discussion that the session can be organized virtual, but now the session can be called by following social distancing and with other rules.
