The Lok Sabha  Speaker Sumitra Mahajan regarding the discussion and voting on the issue of the Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) no-confidence motion against the Centre government over not allotting the special status to Andhra Pradesh.

After this opportunity to thrash the ruling party out All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) party have lashed all of its MPs to be present on Friday for the discussion and mainly voting against Centre.

Derek O' Brien, TMC leader informed that a whip is announced to all of its 34 MPs. “We have decided that we will send all 34 TMC Lok Sabha MPs on a whip to be present for discussion and voting of the no-confidence motion in the Parliament on Friday”, ANI quoted the TMC leader.

Dinesh Trivedi, another leader from the party notified that the party leaders are busy in the Martyrs day that TMC observed on 21st July but all of them will attend the discussion in Delhi. He said: “21st of July is a very important day for TMC. We observe it as a martyrs day for 14 youth TMC workers who were killed. All 34 MPs of TMC are therefore busy.”

He further added: “No-confidence motion is a very important aspect of Parliament. We had requested the speaker and government to change the date. We even protested but couldn't convince them. So, all MPs have been asked to come to Delhi,”

Worthy to mention here that the LS speaker on Wednesday proclaimed that “The House will take up the debate (on the motion) on Friday, July 20. The discussion will be held for the full day, followed by voting on it,”

For this, even Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also issued a whip to its MP and also asked NDA to do the same for their MPs.
