Mumbai: Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde is in tremendous action. Claiming to have the support of more than 37 party MLAs, they are also ready to challenge the anti-defection law. Amidst all this, while four more rebel Shiv Sena MLAs reached Guwahati late on Wednesday night, 3 more MLAs reached Guwahati this morning.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, CM Uddhav Thackeray addressed the public and left the government residence late at night and reached Matoshree. The same Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders arrived at party chief Sharad Pawar's residence for a meeting. On the other hand, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati where the rebel MLAs are staying, the TMC has started staging a dharna.
The same two Shiv Sena MLAs, Sada Sarvankar and Mangesh Kudalkar, who were reported to have left Mumbai last night, were also seen in Guwahati, Assam along with Eknath Shinde. According to sources, a total of 42 MLAs from Maharashtra are present along with Eknath Shinde at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati, Assam. This includes 34 Shiv Sena MLAs and 8 Independents. All the rebel MLAs present at the hotel also met former Minister of State for Home and Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar.
