Patna: Bihar is witnessing unique cases due to the Punjab elections. In many Panchayats, politics seems to be weighing heavily on relations. A similar case has been reported in Chhapra where a husband filed a nomination against his wife. The case pertains to the Panapur block of Saran district where her husband Abhishek Singh has filed his candidature against former Panapur block district councillor Archana Singh.

In the same Panchayat elections, it is the husband who has locked the fray against his wife. In fact, nominations for Zilla Parishad have started in Madhora, the fourth phase is scheduled to be held in Masrakh and Panapur blocks of Saran district. Her husband Abhishek Singh has filed her nomination against Archana Singh, a former district councillor of Panapur block, and has started preparing to contest hard in the fray.

Earlier, Abhishek Singh was the election agent of wife Archana Singh. After a tenure of 5 years, Abhishek has filed nomination papers against his wife. Although there is still time left for the nomination review and withdrawal of nominations, in such a situation, the public is considering the filing of nominations in the election field together between husband and wife as a political setting. Now the thing to be seen will be whether instead of a wife in the election field, this time the husband contests the election or also the wife remains in the field.
