Lucknow: Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Varanasi on a 2-day visit on Friday, November 12, to measure the political race of Uttar Pradesh amid the rising cold. In the concluding session of the state's election management team meeting, Amit Shah is scheduled to chalk out BJP's plan for the assembly elections in a brainstorming session of nearly 3 hours. He is scheduled to inaugurate the first All India Official Language Conference of the Official Language Department on Saturday the next day. In the afternoon, he is going to Azamgarh and will make an election conch sound there. BJP's election management team, which is working out its strategy ahead of the assembly elections, will hold an important meeting on November 12 at the Hastkala Complex in Badalalpur.
The first session is scheduled to be held from 2.30 p.m. Union minister and election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan will be seen presiding over the meeting. The second session is scheduled to be chaired by Amit Shah from 5.30 pm. It will include more than 600 office bearers and the party's top leadership is going to discuss this here at different stages. According to party functionaries, the election management team will prepare reports of different localities and Amit Shah is also scheduled to discuss the upcoming strategy on the same basis. According to reports, the BJP is set to chalk out its strategy from Purvanchal. The BJP's performance in 2017 in Purvanchal, which has wrapped up 33 per cent of the state's seats, was impressive. In the 3 elections held from 2014 to 2019, it was Amit Shah's management skills that led to a clean sweep.
The CM will be accompanied by state functionaries: The 6-member team of State In-charge Radha Mohan Singh along with Dharmendra Pradhan's 6-member team is also scheduled to attend the 2-session election management team meeting. In addition, CM Yogi is scheduled to accompany the Home Minister at the airport throughout the programme after his arrival. BJP state president Swatanter Dev Singh, general secretary Sunil Bansal and presidents of all the six localities of the state will also be present. Amit Shah is scheduled to take a night break at Amethi Kothi.
