New Delhi: Oil companies have once again released the prices of petrol and diesel today i.e. on Tuesday. Today there is a big relief again because even today the companies have not made any changes in the prices of oil. Since the announcement made in the past, petrol prices have come down by a maximum of Rs 9 and diesel by Rs 7. In such a situation, now both are available at very low prices. At present, a liter of petrol in Delhi is getting Rs 96.72 per liter while diesel is getting Rs 89.62 per liter. The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 111.35 and the price of diesel is Rs 97.28 per liter.

Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 while diesel costs Rs 92.76 per litre. In Chennai too, petrol is Rs 102.63 per liter and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter. Political opponents of the government had alleged that due to the elections of five states, the Modi government had stopped the oil companies from increasing the price. Oil companies had increased the price by Rs 25 per liter for bulk buyers of diesel after crude oil prices touched $112 a barrel in the international market. Oil dealers said that there may be a gradual increase in the retail price.
