This will affect all customers. This rule of the bank will be applicable from June 1. The bank has also increased the minimum balance limit to be maintained in the account. If you are not able to maintain the increased balance, then the monthly service charge will also have to be paid more than before.
In a notification issued by the same bank, it was said that the tariff structure of savings / salary account is being changed from June 1, 2022. Monthly minimum balance has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 in towns and rural areas. Apart from this, the penalty for not having auto debit success has also been increased. This will be effective from 1st July. If customers of Axis Bank are not able to maintain the minimum balance in the account, then they will have to pay more service charge than before. The maximum monthly service charge for metro and urban areas will now be Rs 600. It will be Rs 300 for semi-urban area and Rs 250 for rural areas.
In case of failure of the same National Automated Clearing House (NACH), the fee has been increased to Rs 500. Under this, 375 for the first time return, 425 for the second time and 500 rupees for the third time return. The charge on auto debit failure has also been increased by Rs 50 and it has increased from Rs 200 to Rs 250. Now if you issue a check book from a bank, then you will have to pay a higher price for this also. After the change, the price per leaf check book has been increased from Rs 2.50 to Rs 4. This change will also be effective from July 1. Now instead of Rs 75, Rs 100 will have to be paid as physical detail and duplicate passbook fee. This change will also be effective from July 1.
