Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a special series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20 while inaugurating the prestigious week celebrations of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs today. Yes and these special series coins will be easily recognizable by visually impaired persons. Let us tell you that recently the PMO said in a statement, "PM will inaugurate the prestigious week celebrations of Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs on June 6, 2022 at around 10.30 am at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. With this it said, "The Prime Minister will also issue a special series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20."
Let us tell you that under the special series, these coins will have the logo of AKAM. Yes and the PMO statement said, "These special series of coins will have the theme of the logo of AKAM and will be easily recognizable for visually impaired persons."
Notably, this week is being celebrated as a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (AKAM) from 6th to 11th June, 2022. In addition to the Yes and Special Series coins, the PM will also launch the National Portal for Credit-Linked Government Schemes - Jan Samarth Portal, a one-stop digital portal linking government credit schemes. Let us tell you that Jan Samarth Portal is the first of its kind platform which directly connects the beneficiaries with the lenders.
