New Delhi: Today is going to be a very important day for the Indian Railways. In fact, today the Railways itself is going to collide two trains at full speed in Secunderabad in Hyderabad. One train will be boarded by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw himself, while the other train will have other senior officials, including the Chairman of the Railway Board. Through this, the Railways will test the indigenous technology 'Kavach.' 'Kavach' is the technology of the country, which is being claimed that there will be no collision of two trains since its implementation. It is the world's cheapest technology of this kind.

An indigenously developed Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system has been created to help the Railways achieve the goal of 'Zero Accident.' Armour has been developed to stop a train automatically. Senior officials said that when the digital system sees a manual error like a red signal or any other fault, the trains also stop automatically. He said once implemented, it would cost Rs 50 lakh per km to run it, while it costs around Rs 2 crore for such technology all over the world.

According to the report, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will be in Secunderabad to join the testing of the system on the Sanatnagar-Shankarpalli section. An official from the railways said, "The Railway Minister and the Chairman of the Railway Board (CRB) will participate in the trial to be held on March 4. We will show how the system works in three situations." Let us tell you that in this technology when the train passes through a signal where it is not allowed to pass, the danger signal is sent through this technology. If the loco pilot fails to stop the train, then through the 'Kavach' technique, the brakes of the train will be automatically applied and the train will be saved from any accident. The official said that the technology works on high-frequency radio communication. It also confirms SIL-4 (System Integration Level-4), which is the highest level of safety certification.
