New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who lost their first three matches due to a humiliating performance by the batsmen, and Punjab kings (PBKS), who could not make the desired start with the failure, will be looking at victory only when they face off in SRH on Wednesday. The SRH, captained by David Warner, has had a disappointing start this season. His team has so far lost their matches by a narrow margin in three matches chasing the target and has not opened an account.
The situation in Punjab is more or less the same. The team led by Lokesh Rahul has suffered a setback in two of the three matches. Punjab barely defended their score in the first big-scoring match against RR, but after that their batsmen against Chennai Super Kings could not do well against the Delhi Capitals (DC).
Punjab Kings (PBKS) were 106 for eight in front of the CSK bowlers and suffered a crushing defeat. Rahul and his opening partner Mayank Agarwal showed last year's form against Delhi, but star bowler Mohammed Shami failed in the match and the team could not defend the target of 196 runs.
