Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is in the news these days. In fact, her husband is currently in jail and his troubles are increasing. Mumbai Police has reportedly filed a chargesheet against the businessman in the Raj Kundra case. The chargesheet is 1500 pages and the chargesheet names 43 witnesses. Shilpa is also on the list of these witnesses and now Shilpa's statement that she has given to the police has come to light. As part of the information received, Raj Kundra's wife and actresses Shilpa Shetty and Sherlyn Chopra were also among the 43 witnesses.
According to a well-known website, Shilpa Shetty has told Mumbai police that 'she was very busy with her work, didn't know what Raj Kundra was doing. Her statement is part of a 1400-page chargesheet filed by Mumbai police against Kundra and his company Viaan Industries IT chief Ryan Thorp in connection with the making of an adult film.' In his statement, Shilpa also said, "Raj Kundra started Viaan Industries Limited in 2015. I was with him in the directors till 2020, but then I resigned for personal reasons.''
Shilpa also said, 'I don't know about Hotshots or Bollyfame apps. I was very busy with my work and so I was not aware of what Raj Kundra was doing.' Let me tell you all that the police have claimed in the chargesheet that Raj Kundra used the Mumbai office of Viaan Industries to conduct day-to-day operations of the adult racket. Hotshots or Bollyfame were some of the apps through which the accused uploaded pornographic material online.
