5. Chris Gayle
The only overseas player that comes close to matching De Villiers’ legacy is West Indies star, Chris Gayle. Also known as the Universe Boss, Gayle has taken the tournament by storm. He holds many records like most sixes (357) and the highest individual score (175*) which he got against the now defunct Pune team.
