Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced on Friday that it has launched its Urban Cruiser SUV before the festive season. The company announced in a recent press note that it has received a very encouraging response to Urban Cruiser even after the booking began in August 2020.
The price of Urban Cruiser has been kept from 840,000 to 11,30,000 (ex-showroom). This is a rebooted version of Maruti's Vitara Brezza. This is the second product to exit the Toyota-Suzuki partnership for the Indian market. This is aimed at a small group of customers who want to make an early entry into the Toyota SUV family'. With the launch of Urban Cruiser, the fortune maker aims to increase its stake in the sub-compact SUV segment.
Urban Cruiser has a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol powertrain with an advanced Li-ion battery of ISG (Integrated Standard Generator). It has torque assist, regenerative braking, and idle start/start.
