New Delhi: Clash between Toyota Kirloskar Motor Management and Employees Union continues. Employees have been on strike against the management since 9 November, demanding that a better environment be provided to the employees within the plant. Toyota Kirloskar Motor's plant is located in Bidadi, Karnataka.

The employees union says that the government is not taking their problems seriously even after being engaged with the capital Bengaluru. In this plant, luxury cars like Toyota Innova, Fortuner are made. According to the union, the employees within the plant are always under pressure for work. Earlier this factory had a target of producing 80 thousand cars per year, which has now been increased to 1 lakh. But there is no increase in the number of employees. That is, more work is being done than the employees who were there earlier.

An employee has given as an example that currently an Innova was made in 3 minutes. Now an Innova is being made every 2.5 minutes. The union says that the employees in this factory are giving up to 98% of the production, yet the employees are being accused of impropriety.
