Mahasamund: At around 10.30 pm on Thursday night, four persons in a vehicle lost their lives in a road accident on Jhalap-Bagbahara road. These include a 45-year-old woman and three men. The four were on the same bike and were returning from Dhank to Village Basuladbari (Bagbahara) via Tendukona Kalmiddar. Falling from the motorcycle itself, hitting someone or being hit by an unknown vehicle, remains a matter of investigation for the police. On the other hand, the news of the incident has created a stir in the village. The deceased include the mother and son and two other people from the same family.

The same case is of Barekel Turn, Nartora Chaukhari under Pateva police station. The matter was reported to Pateva TI Kumari Chandrakar in the night. arrived at the spot. It is said that all four died on the spot. They were taken to Bagbahara Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. At 1 pm, TI reported the incident on social media.

According to information received from the same Pateva TI Chandrakar, the four on a motorcycle were on their way to the home village Basuladbari (Bagbahara) on the night of February 17 from Dhak. They were on their way to the village via Thelmidadar Tendukona road. The deceased were identified as Bugli Bai's wife Purushottam (45), Premlal's son Purushottam (18), Jamlal's son Lakshman Nagvanshi (22), Human's son Umashankar (18). The police sent all the bodies to Bagbahara community centre. Where after post-mortem, handed over to the family. Police are investigating the accident.
