Dehradun: Two of the four friends who were taking selfies on the banks of the Gangnahar in Uttarakhand drowned in the Gangnahar and went missing. Seeing the two drowning, two friends made a noise. Hearing the sound, the persons who rushed to the spot reported the matter to the police. Police reached the spot and searched for the two, but could not find anything. At the same time, the accident caused panic in the family.

According to the police, Bharat (21) resident Modipuram, Meerut, Sandeep (27) resident near Haveli, Baghpat, Abhishek Jain (21) resident Chauhan Enclave Baghpat and Rakesh (46) resident Baraut Road, Baghpat went to Mussoorie by car on Friday morning. Where he reached Roorkee around 4 in the morning. Here they stopped their car near Solani Park. The four friends got down from the car and were taking selfies while standing on the banks of the Gangnahar. Meanwhile, Bharat and Sandeep's feet suddenly slipped there and started drowning in Gangnahar. Abhishek and Rakesh tried to save both, but both got lost in the strong current of Gangnahar.

Seeing their friends drowning, both of them made a noise. Hearing the noise, the persons who went on a morning walk rushed to the spot and took the information. People reported the accident to the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and searched for the two, but nothing was found. At the same time, the police informed the family members of both of them about the accident. Both are being searched by conducting search operations. And the further investigation is on.
