Ajmer: A bus going from Jaipur to Gujarat overturned on NH-8 on Sunday due to which a tire burst and killed 3 passengers on the spot. In this accident, 23 people have been badly injured. The accident was so severe that a passenger jumped out of the bus and fell due to the blow and his neck was separated from the torso due to coming under the tires. The injured have been admitted to the Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital in Ajmer.
According to the information, a bus from Gujarat was going to Ajmer from Jaipur. Meanwhile, the bus had about 45 passengers from some states including Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. The bus tire exploded near Palra on National Highway 8. This caused the bus to be uncontrolled and overturned by hitting the divider. As soon as the bus overturned, a passenger fell out of the car onto the road and his neck was severed from the torso as the tires came down. Due to which he died on the spot. Nearby villagers came to help and passengers were evicted by breaking the glass of the bus.
Police also reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Police rushed the injured to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital where doctors declared 2 dead. 23 passengers were injured in this accident, out of which 3 are said to be critical. Some have not been identified. Police has made the bus straight by crane. As soon as the accident happened, the local people and the police evacuated the passengers from the bus. Some passengers were not hurt. The police have referred the injured to the hospital.
