The party has been working to bolster its presence in states where it has traditionally been weak, and the new appointments are seen as a significant step in this direction.

The BJP's emphasis on southern states is particularly noteworthy, given the region's strategic importance in the country's political landscape. The party has been working to expand its presence in states like Karnataka and Kerala, where it has traditionally faced strong opposition from regional parties.

Similarly, the BJP's focus on northeastern states reflects its efforts to consolidate its position in the region. The party has been working to strengthen its presence in states like Manipur, Mizoram, and Nagaland, where it has faced challenges from regional parties and insurgent groups.

Overall, the BJP's appointment of in-charges and co-incharges for 24 states marks a significant development in the party's organizational structure.
