Beijing: A major road accident occurred in China's Guizhou province on Sunday (September 18). At least 27 people died and 20 others were injured when a passenger bus overturned here. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical. In such a situation, the number of dead is expected to increase. Sandu County Police has given information in this regard in a post released on Weibo.

The accident occurred when the bus carrying 47 passengers overturned on the expressway in Qianan Buie and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou province, police said. 27 people lost their lives in the accident, while 20 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, the work of identifying the dead is going on. The body is being handed over to his family members. At the same time, there has been a major accident due to water logging in an iron mine in China, in which 14 workers have died and one person is missing.  

Chinese officials gave this information on Saturday. No information about the missing person has been found so far, he said. The incident of filling water in the mine took place earlier this month. The Tangshan city government has issued a small statement regarding this. The search and rescue operation is over, it said. The cause of water logging in the mine on September 2 is being ascertained. The mine is 160 km east of Beijing in Hebei province. Iron ore and steel are found extensively in Hebei.
