Srinagar: A tragic accident has occurred in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in which 3 soldiers of the Indian Army have been martyred. According to the report, three Army personnel fell into a gorge during an operational task near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil sector of Kupwara north Kashmir. All three soldiers died in this accident.  

According to recent information, the bodies of the three soldiers have been taken out of the ditch. It is being told that the three soldiers who were martyred include one JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) and two OR (Other Rank). It is being told that the area where these soldiers fell into the ditch is a snowy area.

During a routine op task, a team of one JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) and two OR (Other Rank) slipped into a deep gorge after snow fell on the track, and all three died, the Indian Army said in a statement. The mortal remains of the three soldiers have been pulled out of the ditch and further action is being taken.
