Lucknow: A tragic accident has occurred in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Four members of a family lost their lives while cleaning the toilet tank of the house on Sunday (May 28) morning. At the same time, one is undergoing treatment in critical condition. This caused mourning in the house. The villagers got angry over the ambulance not reaching on time. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

According to the report, the incident took place in Village Sabha Bahora Ramnagar of Padrauna tehsil. Dr. Nandkumar Kushwaha, a resident of Tola Khapardhikka, along with his family members, had entered the toilet tank to clean it. During the cleaning, the condition of all of them started deteriorating. All were somehow evacuated. In which 2 people died there. Three people were rushed to Kotwa CHC by the police in critical condition, where two of the three people also died during treatment.

At the same time,  26-year-old Rajkumar son Ramnaresh Kushwaha is undergoing treatment in the district hospital. His condition is also said to be critical. DM, SP inspected the spot and took information from the family members. Prima facie, all of them died due to poisonous gas inside the tank.
