Chennai: The tragic death of seven people, including the son of DMK MLA, in Koramangala, Tamil Nadu, has shaken everyone. The accident occurred at 2 am on Tuesday when a high-end SUV full of people collided with a boundary wall and overturned. Hosur MLA Y Prakash's only son Y Karuna Sagar also lost his life in the accident. Tamil Nadu CM and DMK President MK Stalin condoled the death of his party's MLA son in the accident. He expressed grief and agony over the incident.

According to reports, the speeding car left the top of the pavement and hit the boundary wall before overturning. Sources said six people died on the spot while one succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. The footage CCTV after the incident has gone viral on social media. Police have reportedly said the high-end SUV was driven recklessly. CCTV footage shows the vehicle speeding before the accident.
He said the collision was so severe that the front of the SUV was completely shattered. DCP said an inquiry is being conducted to find out if it is a case of drunken driving. The family members of the deceased rushed to the spot on receiving information. He was in Chennai when the MLA heard of his son's death. He immediately left for Hosur in the Krishnagiri district after getting information. His elder brother Chandrappa had come to St John's Hospital here to collect the body after postmortem. He told the press, "A great tragedy came upon us. I am not in a position to say anything.'
