Telengana: In Telangana's Nalgonda, a Atrainer crashed. G Mahima, a 28-year-old trainee pilot from Tamil Nadu, died in the incident, informed the Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday.

The plane, a Flytech Aviation Cessna 152, had taken off from Macherla in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district. Before plunging to the earth, it is thought to have collided with an electric pole. It crashed in an agricultural area in Tungaturthi village, Nalgonda district, Telangana, when it flew across the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana boundary.

The plane belonged to Flytech Flying Academy, a private aviation school. G Mahima, the victim, was enrolled in the institute's commercial pilot programme.

"I was shocked to learn of the unfortunate crash of a training plane in Telangana...  Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the student pilot "Scindia sent out a tweet. "An investigating team has been deployed to the location," the Union Minister added. He also expressed his sympathies to the deceased pilot's family and loved ones.
