To boost the States immunity against the coronavirus the Tripura health department decided that from Wednesday onwards, it will conduct a special three-day vaccination programme for 15-18-year-old age groups

The vaccination drive would reach as many schools as possible across eight districts in Tripura. Over two lakh youngs are anticipated to get vaccinated as part of this particular vaccination effort in Tripura. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb stated, "We aim to distribute COVID vaccination shots to roughly 2,13,000 youngsters." 

"I am urging all parents to have their children vaccinated in order to support our battle against the epidemic," he continued. The particular immunisation push for those aged 15 to 18 years old will begin on Wednesday and end on January 22. Tripura's chief minister, Biplab Deb, had earlier said that the state is prepared to fight COVID-19's third wave.
