The driver of another truck, Ramashish Yadav, who was changing the wheel after being hit by a mini truck on the flyover of the highway at Rane Chatti in Mirzamurad area, died on the spot on Saturday afternoon. Khalasi Naushad was injured in the incident. The driver and khalasi fled leaving the mini truck as the tyre got stuck.

It has been learnt that the injured khalasi has been admitted to the hospital by the police. Ramashish Yadav, the only son of late Balakaran Yadav, a resident of Pyarepur village under Ghosi police station in Mau, had loaded sand from Madhya Pradesh on a truck (UP 54T 8166) and left for Mau.

According to reports, the right tyre of the truck burst near Rane Chatti on Mirzamurad flyover around 3 pm. The driver  was working to replace the shell wheel when a mini truck (BR 01 GG 1727) carrying electric wires from Varanasi to Prayagraj hit the driver-khalasi while overtaking. The driver has three daughters and a son. As soon as the news of the driver's death was received, the family members were shocked.
