ANKARA : Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky spoke on the phone about the situation in Ukraine.
According to a statement released by the Turkish presidency on Friday, the two leaders reviewed the situation on the ground and the current level of discussions between Russia and Ukraine. According to the statement, Erdogan told Zelensky that he reiterated Turkey's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity at the NATO leaders' summit in Brussels on Thursday.
The Turkish President said that he informed NATO leaders about Turkey's "active and principled policies, as well as extensive diplomatic measures." "Turkey has provided all the assistance it can in this process," Erdogan said to Ukrainian President.
