The famous actor in Hindi cinema, Jitendra and Shobha Kapoor's son Tusshar Kapoor may not have achieved the fame like his father in his movie career, but he managed to impress fans with his performances. In 2016, bachelor Tushar surprised fans and others by taking the step of being a single parent through surrogacy. In the entertainment industry, there will be many cases of single parents, but this is probably the first known case of becoming a father through surrogacy without marrying. However, after which his elder sister Ekta Kapoor also decided to become a single mother through IVF, following her brother's footsteps. Tusshar's son's name is Lakshya, while Ekta's son's name is Ravi Kapoor, the real name of his father Jeetendra.
According to media reports, Tushar, born on 20 November 1976, started his film career from the 2001 film Maine Kuchh Kehna Hai, starring Kareena Kapoor with him and directed by Satish Kaushik. For a few years, Tusshar appeared in central roles in films, but not getting commercial success, he turned to supporting roles and was quite popular and successful in these films. But the interesting thing is that as long as Tusshar continued to communicate in his movies, he did not get the expected success, but Tushar's popularity skyrocketed as soon as he spoke. Rohit Shetty's highly successful franchise Golmaal had changed Tusshar's career. Tusshar's character in these films was that of a dumb person.
Tusshar also spent his career mostly in romantic and action comedy movies. He also had considerable success in comic films. However, Tusshar also played some serious characters, who were noticed. For example, Rajkumar Santoshi's films Khaki, Shore in the City, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Shootout at Wadala earned him a lot of appreciation. Tusshar also started his producer's career with Laxmii starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. The film has been released on Disney Plus Hotstar on November 9 before Diwali.
