Mumbai: Nowadays the cases of cheating are heard too much. The case that has come up recently is from Mumbai. In this case, the Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested a TV artist for posing a fake cop and robbing the elderly. It is being told that his arrest has been made on the information of Dehradun Police. The accused is named Salman and has appeared in shows like Chhatrapati Raja Shivaji, Savdhaan India, as well as films like Gulmkai and Behnchor.

Crime Branch says that in order to cheat the elderly police, he used to fly to Chandigarh, Dehradun and North India cities by aeroplane and return to Mumbai after committing the crime. Salman, accused in this case, is said to be 40 years old. He is also known as Zakir. On December 3, he had arrived in Dehradun's Patel Nagar to defraud an elderly woman as police.

Salman had stolen the jewellery worth 5 lakh rupees by intimidating the woman. The Mumbai Crime Branch started searching for the accused as soon as the Dehradun Police came to know about the vicious thief hiding in Mumbai through technical surveillance. The Mumbai Crime Branch then caught him. It is being told in this case that 3 criminal cases have been registered against the accused in Nagpur city and two in Uttarakhand.
