TV actress Trina Saha turns a year older today. The actress is enjoying by celebrating her birthday since last night. “My relatives and close friends came over to my house at night. We had Chinese for dinner and I cut a cake at midnight. My husband Neel (Bhattacharya) decorated the house for my birthday. I personally love to celebrate my birthday and make it a point that I don’t work on my birthdays. So, today, I have taken a day off from my serial Khorkuto’s shoot. I want to spend the day with my family and friends,” said the birthday girl. Talking about her birthday plans, Trina shared, “I will be going out for a family lunch along with my parents and in-laws. We will have Bengali cuisine. Neel has organised a small party at our terrace at night and a few of my friends will come over. We will have biryani and galouti kebab for dinner. But before going out for lunch, I will gorge on payesh prepared by my mother-in-law as that’s the family ritual. Diet takes a back seat today.”

We inquired as to what Neel had given her for her birthday. "He gave me a lovely necklace." Beautiful outfits have been given to me by both my parents and in-laws! "They know how much I like getting new outfits," Trina said.

"My birthday resolution is to be a better human being and to be able to amuse the audience with wonderful work," she remarked when asked about her birthday resolutions.

Trina and her husband, Neel, are planning a quick getaway for their February 4th anniversary. "I'd want to get out of town for some fresh air." "Let's see what we can do for our anniversary," the actress said.
