Speaking to Spotboye, Daljeet said, 'I knew Kushal for the last 16 years. 16 years ago we worked together in a show called 'Santan'. We were very good friends. I am not able to accept that he can end his life. He was the same person who supported me in the worst of my life. I was very depressed when Shaleen Bhanot and I were separating. At that time in personal life, I was going through a very bad phase. He had explained to me that life does not end with a relationship breakdown or marriage breakdown, I am not sure how he can do this." Apart from this, Daljit has also written emotional posts on her Instagram with photos of Kushal.
The news of sudden Kushal's death came on December 27, which shocked everyone. But for even more shocking people, it was to know that he committed suicide. His dead body was found at his home. Along with this, a suicide note was also found in the police, in which it was written that he did not want to hold anyone responsible for this death. He worked in several TV serials. Most recently, he was seen in 'Pyar Me Marjawan', look but lovingly, 'Kabhi Ha Kabhi Na'. Apart from the small screen, he had also worked with Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan. He worked as a co-star with Salman in 'Salaam-e-Ishq' and Hrithik Roshan in 'Lakshya'. He was also seen in Shahrukh Khan's film 'Kaal'.
