Ankush Hazra, a Bengali film actor who had a successful spell on reality TV, is expected to appear in a daily soap. Ankush is expected to make a cameo appearance in the 'Mon Phagun' Valentine's Day special episode, according to rumours. With a passionate love narrative, the Sean Banerjee and Srijla Guha starrer has been captivating the audience. The producers invited Ankush for a cameo appearance because they wanted to spice up the show.

Interestingly, Babul Supriyo, a singer-turned-politician, was featured in special episodes of 'Dhulokona,' another Bengali daily serial shown by the same channel. Now, 'Mon Phagun' is going to follow in his footsteps. Rishi and his former sweetheart are at the centre of the present plot. On the other side, Pihu, the heroine of Mon Phagun, is attempting to regain her childhood crush. She is serious about resolving issues and confessing her love for Tubai Da alias Rishiraj. And Ankush will almost certainly play a key role in her mission.

Despite his frequent appearances on television, Bengali fans have yet to see Ankush in daily soaps. The actor was a contestant on the reality programme 'Dance Bangla Dance 11', which ended recently. He and his real-life BFF Vikram Chatterjee co-hosted the dancing reality show. Ankush has been a member of the 'Dance Bangla Dance' family for numerous seasons, serving as a judge on 'Dance Bangla Dance Junior.' He has performed in Jisshu U Sengupta's stand-up comedy programme "Hasiwala and Company."
