New Delhi:- Twitter limits the number of tweets that various accounts can read per day to prevent "extreme levels" of data abuse and system manipulation, CEO Elon Musk said in a post on the social media platform Saturday as Stated.

Musk said that initially verified accounts were limited to 6,000 posts per day, while unverified accounts were limited to 600 posts per day and new unverified accounts to 300. He added that it is.

Since then, the temporary browsing limit has increased to 10,000 posts per day for authenticated users, 1,000 posts per day for unverified users, and 500 posts per day for new unverified users. Musk said in a separate post but did not provide further details.

Musk said hundreds of organizations are scraping Twitter data "very aggressively", impacting the user experience.

Musk has previously expressed displeasure with AI companies like OpenAI, which owns ChatGPT, using Twitter data to train large-scale language models. Twitter was down for thousands of users as of Saturday morning, according to troubleshooting website Downdetector.com.
